Joel has a brief update on his situation:
Well, I’m fine – though no power, reception, and the water’s apparently going to go soon. The place I’m living in is fine too, other than wet carpets, guttering all over the carpark, and most of the plants have been uprooted.
I can only imagine what it is like, but the resilience of individuals like Joel and the communities up there is truly remarkable.
On behalf of everyone, we’re glad to hear your safe and well.
Trust me, we’re all thinking of you and everyone in Queensland.
